So sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. 30+ years ago, he was instrumental in helping a young coach secure his first head coaching position. Today, I include my time and those I coached and worked with at QND among the most meaningful years in my career. Ray was truly one of a kind. His commitment to young people and his zest for family and community will be missed. May your hearts be blessed with peace and comfort.

    Dear family,
So many years that I have known Ray’s family, his mom and dad and brothers all went to school at St. Rose. As a boy serving for Msgr. Fox and so many good years there as he told me last St. Patrick’s day dinner at St. Rose. He was a great guy and had great stories we shared, they bought their groceries from my family many years back. I thank the family for sharing him with us, what a guy. I will have a mass said at St. Rose for the repose of his soul.

    Rosie and family,
I was in Colorado when I heard the news of Ray’s passing. Back in the fall of 1983, before school had even started, Ray was the first person I met at QND. He was at school early one morning and came up to me to introduce himself and meet me. He was one of the most influential people I have ever met. He loved all of you more than anything else. I will pray that GOD gives you the strength you will need to get through the tough times ahead, but also that HE will fill your hearts and memories with only the great memories you shared with your husband and dad.

    God Bless,
    Lonny

Ray had an intregal part In my adolescents involving football and my goals in life. He believed in every young man and tried to find the right words to encourage each and every one of us. I will never forget ray sitting on that chair st practice not the colorful hat he wore st every game. Thank you Ray for being the person you were. My condolences to his family and Roy (team captain my first year) God Bless each and every one of you.

The measure of a man is the family he leaves behind. Ray was a tremendous success by that measure, not only with his own family but also with his boy scouts and youth football players. A wonderful and kind man.
