Raymond Bernard Brink, Jr.

Raymond Bernard Brink, Jr. age 78, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Blessing Hospital. He was born on June 23, 1944, in Quincy, the son of Raymond B. Brink, Sr. and Sylvia Marquerite (Leckbee) Brink.

Ray married Patricia C. Burton on October 2, 1965, in Quincy. She survives.

Ray was a graduate of Quincy High School. He was retired from his work as yard foreman at the Timberline Lumber Company, prior to that he had worked at Brower Manufacturing.

Ray was a member of the McKee Creek Coon Hunting Club, he and his wife Pat really enjoyed cooking dinners for the club members.

Ray also loved riding horses and being on his lawnmower taking care of his yard. He was a big fan of Quincy High School Basketball. Best of all he loved being with his grandchildren and taking care of them.

He is survived by his wife, Pat.
three children: Brendon (Leslie) Brink of Payson, Brandy (Ray) Caruso, of Highlands Ranch, CO and Trenton (Jatanna) Brink of Hannibal, MO.
His siblings: Carol Laeding of Quincy, Roger (Louise) Brink of Hannibal, and Maudine (Jim) Rice of Quincy.
Grandchildren: Cameron Brink, Garrett Brink, Ava Caruso, Gia Caruso, twins, Evan and Ethan Brink, Macie Brink. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Joan Brice, and a grandson Gavin Caruso.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of services at 2:30. Following the services, cremation rites will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
