Phyllis J. Holcumbrink

Phyllis J. Holcumbrink, age 69, of 1706 North Granview, went to join her heavenly family with God at 4:20 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in Blessing Hospital. Phyllis was born on March 2, 1940 in Quincy, the daughter of Milbert and Bertha (Reinold) Wolf.

Phyllis was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was employed by Blessing Hopsital up to the time of her death. Phyllis had fun going on cruises and to casinos. She also enjoyed gardening, listening to her favorite music and playing with her beloved pet “Chole”. Phyliis also liked going on picnics with her family.

HER LONG TIME FRIEND AND COMPANION: Richard Krigbaum
Her twin daughters: Judy Wiseman of Ewing, MO and Janet Stephens of Quincy
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Ronnie Stephens of Liberty, Devin Stephens of Quincy; Taylor and Allie Wiseman of Ewing, MO
A SISTER: Vicky Murray
THREE BROTHERS: Dan Wolf and his wife Janet; Tom Wolf and his wife Jane and Jim Wolf and his wife Mindy.
An AUNT: Regina Martin
Numerous nieces, nephews cousins and many friends also survive.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, a brother William W. Wolf and a sister Diane Hawe along with several aunts uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 9:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Msgr. Michael Kuse. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home with a Parish Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for the Skilled Nursing Unit.

    Phyllis and I both worked at Blessing lots of year and I counted on her and Maxine so much, When I called Spd I wanted to talk to her. I was always glad to see her after I retired and we’d happen to be in the same place. You’ll have many happy memories to reflect back on. and my deepest sympathy to you all Phyllis Dornberger
