Penny S. Pruett Kamphaus

Penny S. Pruett Kamphaus, age 51, of 624 Washington, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in her home. She was born on March 29, 1961 in Quincy, the daughter of Francis & Ruth (Neece) Pruett. She attended Quincy Senior High School.

Penny was a member of the Rocky Point Club. She was an amazing bartender, she also enjoyed bowling and cooking. Penny loved to entertain and spend time with her family.

She is survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Tina Tieken Rigsbey and her husband Jeremy of Virginia; David Tieken and his significant other Khristina of Quincy; and Ashley Tieken also of Quincy
SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN: Kinsley Rigsbey, Abbigail Rigsbey, Mayzie Tieken; Jayce Tieken, Annsley Tieken, Aiden Bigley and Demetrius Bigley.
ONE BROTHER: Bradley Pruett and his wife Lois of Quincy;
TWO SISTERS: Robin McClean and her husband Rod of Quincy and Amy Burke and her husband Trevor of Bremerton, WA
STEP-MOTHER: Marilyn Pruett of Quincy
ONE STEP BROTHER: Bruce Barry and his wife Julie of Plant City, FL
TWO STEP-SISTERS: Donna Barry of Eugene, Oregon; and Judy Lewis and her husband Mike of Rock Island, IL
STEP-SISTER-IN-LAW: Karen Barry of Lake St. Louis, MO
AUNTS: Betty Hagerbaumer and Lavina Nelson.
Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmothers Loretta Thompson and Pearl Neece, one step-brother: Henry Barry and two uncles: George Hagerbaumer and Swede Nelson.

Cremation rites were accorded. Family and Friends are invited to a celebration of her life that will be held Sunday July 1, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Rocky Point Club in Quincy. Please bring a copy of your favorite photo of Penny to include in a memorial album that her family is making. Memorials may be made in Penny’s memory to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
