Pauline Lavon Wilson

Pauline Lavon Wilson, age 92, of the St. Vincent Home, formerly of 2035 Maple, died on Friday, February 10, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on October 18, 1924 in Plevna, MO, the daughter of Ernest Ural & Maude Elizabeth (Strickler) Wilson. Pauline worked for the Trailways Bus Line for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ in Quincy. Pauline enjoyed her time spent with family. In earlier years she liked to go camping and fishing.

She is survived by:
NIECES AND NEPHEWS: David Degitz (Teri); Susan Nieders (John); Connie Howser (John); Beth Colegrove (Willard) and Michelle Gilbert (John).
Numerous great & great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Earlene Wilson in infancy; Clara Degitz along with her husband Louis and Faye Motter.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Locust Hill Cemetery near Novelty, MO. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels Program.
