Paul E. Davis
Paul E. Davis, age 54, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in his home. He was born on March 17, 1964 in Peoria, IL the son of Robert ‘Bob’ and Garnet (Broemmer) Davis.
Paul worked at Titan Wheel for over 30 years.
Paul devoted his life to others and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid KU Basketball fan and loved working outside.
He is survived by:
HIS FATHER: Robert ‘Bob’ Davis
TWO CHILDREN: Cory Davis and his wife Denise of Topeka, KS and MacKenzie Davis and her fiancé Matthew Koepke of Independence, MO.
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Cooper and Addison Davis
SIBLINGS: Cindy Leaver and her husband Andrew of Omaha, NE; Sherry Rakers and her fiancé Shawn Kuch of Macomb, IL and Phil Davis and his wife Jennifer of Liberty, IL.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother and a sister: Vicky Polley.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of his life will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the St. Anthony Parish Hall. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family for an educational fund for his grandchildren. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Cory and family, please accept our deepest sympathy. Although I didn’t know Paul well I have some very good memories of him from the few times we spent time together. Concentrate on all the fun and good memories you had with your dad. You’re in our thoughts.

Paul was such a joy when I worked at State Street! He will be missed! Prayers to the family.
