Patrick Forbes
Patrick Forbes, age 66, of Quincy, died on Friday, December 11, 2015 in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on September 19, 1950 in Quincy, the son of Henry William and Elizabeth Aline (Hayes) “Betty” Forbes. Patrick was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Kelly Forbes, Patrick Forbes, Jr., and Michael Forbes.
SIBLINGS: Shari and her husband Bruce, Michael Forbes and his wife Frances, Kimberly Knight and her husband Jerry, Tammy Porter and her husband Randall, and Maggie Hatfield and her husband David;
Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Gary Wood.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private Family services will be held at a later date.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Patrick. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but it is even harder I am sure under these circumstances. I went to QHS with Patrick and we would talk periodically.

I miss you dearly
To say I’m going to miss you big brother is a understatement. Not only my brother but my dear friend. We’ve had lots of good times and memories together. Even when as a kid I put Nair on half your face,cause you were mean to me. Now those memories is all I’ll have left of you.
I hope you left this earth knowing how very much your family loved you and how important you were to us. RIP buddy I’ll see you on the other side.
I hope we took care of thing like you told us you wanted, we tried to make sure it was done how you wanted it. I miss you already
