Patricia Sloan
Patricia M. Sloan, age 95, of Aurora, IL formerly of Quincy, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. She was born on October 31, 1928 in Quincy the daughter of Arnold and Marie (Johannes) Ludwig. She married Robert J. Sloan on February 24, 1962 in Quincy at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2004. Pat was an operator for the Illinois Bell Company for many years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Pat is survived by:
HER SISTER: Sally Lillig of Aurora and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Pat was also preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Donald Ludwig, Richard ‘Dick’ Ludwig, John ‘Herky’ Ludwig, Sandy Gallaher, Dorothy Maxwell and Waneta ‘Neetz’ Heckenkamp.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass at 11:00. Memorials may be made to St. Peter School or to the Notre Dame Class of 1946. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Sally, my heart goes out to you and the entire Ludwig family. I will see you Saturday. Pat was a lovely lady and will be missed on earth and happy getting her eternal reward.
My sympathy to the Ludwig family. I recall meeting Pat many years ago. She worked with my mom at Illinois Bell as an operator. My mom was Betty Kuhlmeier Krowlek.

She was great to work with but a good friend there too.
I am older than Pat, 102. And i graduated from old ND in 1940.
Our boss Ruth D is still living at 106. Ill tell her about Pat.
What a great gal she was.
