Patricia Clara Requet, age 72, of 1430 N. 7th Street, Quincy, died on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:45 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1944 in Quincy, a daughter of Leonard & Virginia (Frericks) Meyer.

Patricia was a nurse’s assistant at St. Mary Hospital prior to her retirement.

She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed crocheting and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Two children, Kimberly Requet and her significant other Adam Stice of Quincy and Adam Requet and his wife Joy of Olathe, KS;
Four grandchildren, Lauren Stice and Ava, Max & Brynn Requet;
Ten siblings, Carol Wehner and her husband Robert of San Antonio, TX; Leonard Meyer and his wife Theresa of St. Peters, MO; Richard Meyer and his wife Linda of Quincy; Darlene Leithoff and her husband Johnnie of Quincy; Rita Schulze of Quincy; James Meyer and his wife Charolette of Fowler, IL; Susan Schoonover and her husband Steve of Quincy; Judith Eschman and her husband Barry of Lockhart, TX; Andrew Meyer and his wife Tammy of Quincy; Ann Peck and her significant other Randy Stark of Quincy. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Steve Schulze.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11:15 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Fr. Duc Pham, O.F.M.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning beginning at 10:15 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Senior Center.
