Patricia Ann “Patty” Graff, age 62, of 912 N. 16th Street, died on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 7:01 p.m. in Sunset Home. She was born June 29, 1949 in Quincy, a daughter of Louis H. & Marguerite (Waterkotte) Vogelpohl.

Patty worked at North Adams Home in Mendon. She was a CNA for 32 years, receiving the honor of CNA of the Year in 2007.

She was a graduate of Maryvale High School in Phoenix, AZ. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Patty was an avid bingo player, a St. Louis Cardinal fan and she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She was very involved with the Alzheimer’s Association. Her sons and grandsons were her pride and joy, she always wanted to be near them. She loved life and was a happy-go-lucky person.

She is survived by two sons, Wesley Graff of Quincy and Travis Graff and his wife Adrienne of Plainville; two grandsons, Kaleb Leffert & Mason Graff both of Plainville; a sister, Mary “Susie” (Jerry) Manning of Bradenton, FL; two brothers, Jack (Susie) Vogelpohl of Arizona and William “Bill” Vogelpohl of Quincy; two nephews, Derek and Dusty; and a niece, Misty.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Vogelpohl.

A memorial Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Francis Catholic Church by Rev. Don Blaeser. Memorials are suggested to Sunset Home, Blessing Cancer Center, or the Alzheimer’s Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
