Patricia “Pat” Wiemelt

Patricia “Pat” Wiemelt age 63, of 5409 Esther Avenue, Quincy, IL died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 8:02 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. As a final gift to others, Pat was an organ donor to the Midwest Eye Bank. Pat was born February 13, 1949 in Portland, OR a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Schmelzle. She married Ronald D. Wiemelt on August 13, 1966 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and he survives.

Pat was President of RP&G of Quincy, Inc., a business that she and her husband Ron have owned and operated together since 1994.

Pat attended Quincy schools and had formerly attended All Saints Parish in Quincy.
She loved bowling, traveling and she most especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Ron, survivors also include her three daughters: Shelly Eager of Quincy; Lori Poulleau and her husband Xavier of Danville, CA; Tracy Holtman and her husband Brent of Quincy.
Grandchildren: Kyle Eager and his wife Jessica, Conner Eager and Madelyn Eager, Caden and Collin Poulleau; Mackenzie and Morgan Holtman.
A brother, Mike Schmelzle of Orian, IL and many nieces, nephews and in-laws also survive.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved aunts, Laura Pfaffe, Jean Bates and Wanda Speck and a great grandson Gauge Eager.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Arnaud Devilliers. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
