Patricia “Pat” Earnst

Patricia “Pat” Earnst age 67, of 637 Spruce St. Quincy, died on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. Pat wsa born November 1, 1942 in Quincy, a daughter of Mertz and Imogene (Worley) Zanger. She married Albert Earnst on October 19, 1963 in St. Francis Catholic Church and he survives.

Pat had worked at Giant Foods and Kroger as a cashier, she worked at Motorola and most recently had worked as a caregiver at Quincy Terrace.

She was a 1960 graduate of Quincy High School. Pat was of the Catholic faith. She was a member and past preseident of the Eagles Auxiliary and she was active with Special Olympics.
She loved playing BINGO and watching wrestling.

In addition to her husband, Albert, survivors also include her children: Ricky Earnst and his wife Marla ; Laura Tournear and her husband Marlon all of Quincy; Jeff Earnst and wife Kim of Beardstown, IL;
Grandchildren: Katie and Patrick Lambert, Cory Earnst, Kayla Marie and Ronald Tournear all of Quincy; Dalton and Amelia Gallaher of Beardstown.
A sister, Marsha Broemmer and her husband James of Chandler, AZ; nieces and nephews including Jimmy and Chirs Broemmer and Kim Peters.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Victor Lambert.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Father Joe Zimmerman. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to The ALS Association (1275 K Street NW – Suite 1050 – Washington,DC 20005) or the Special Olympics.
