Patricia Louise Stegeman, age 84, of Quincy, died on Monday, August 1, 2022 in her home. She was born on September 21, 1937 in West Point, IL the daughter of John L. and Stella (Staff) Schmitz.

She married David E. Stegeman on June 11, 1960 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ewing, MO. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2021.

Patricia was a graduate of Orange Grade School, attended Warsaw High School and was a graduate of Ewing High School and the Gem City Business College.
Patricia worked as a secretary for Huck Manufacturing, Schmiedeskamp, Robertson, Neu and Mitchell and later for Hardees East.

Patricia was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a member of the Social Concerns Committee at the church. She was also a member of the Ladies of Charity and the Western Catholic Union. She loved her grandchildren and cherished attending their activities and sporting events.

She is survived by her children: Karen M. (Steve) Disseler, Ann C. (Tom) Klene, and Kent D. (Selena) Stegeman all of Quincy.

Seven grandchildren: Karen and Steve’s children, Sarah (Adam) Stoltz of Moscow, ID, Eric (Katie) Disseler of Omaha, NE, Ann and Tom’s children, Adam (Danielle) Klene of Chicago, Alyssa (David) Farley of Kansas City, MO, Evan (Madeline) Klene of St. Louis, Kent and Selena’s children, Jordan Stegeman of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Peyton Stegeman of Quincy; four great grandchildren: John and Addison Stoltz, Thea and Vivienne Disseler.

Funeral services for will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church.

Interment in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Quincy Notre Dame or St. Peter Church or to the Ladies of Charity.
