Patricia L. Powers, age 78, of 2044 Sycamore St. Quincy, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 7:09 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. Patricia was born April 23, 1933 in Quincy, a daughter of James and Gladys (Goodwin) Perry. She married Harold A. Powers on April 19, 1952 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1991. Patricia was a homemaker, and she was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She had volunteered at Blessing Hospital, she enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Survivors include her children; sons, Stephen (Tina) Powers, Patrick (Georgia) Powers all of Quincy; her daughter, Deborah Powers of Chicago, IL;
Two brothers, James (Jean) Perry of Quincy; and William Perry of Adams, IL;
Five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren survive along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-son, Rodney Powers and a brother Richard Perry.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
