Patricia Kay Black-Davis

Patricia Kay Black-Davis age 76, of Quincy, IL passed at her home on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Patricia was born on September 19, 1944, in Hannibal, MO a daughter of Charles Black and Opal Shaver.

She is survived by her 10 children, Mary Simmons; Harold D. Elzea, Jr.; Joseph (Becky) Elzea; Deana Scott; Paula Richmond; William Elzea; Terri Elzea; Roland Johnson; Roldan Johnson, and Alberta Johnson.
Survivors also include 25 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband Harold Elzea, Sr. Two grandchildren, Roxy Johnson and Jaheim Raspberry; her parents and Terri Johnson.

Patricia loved to listen to music and spend time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and being outdoors. She had a smile that would light-up the room, Patricia will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

“Though she walks through the valley of the shadow of death, she shall fear no evil”. “You watched us take our first breath and we watched you take your last. We love you Mom”. This is not goodbye, this is see you later!

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Niffen officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 on Thursday.
