Patricia June Seals

Patricia June Seals, age 82, of 1510 W. Granview, Quincy, died on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 7:44 a.m. in North Adams Home, Mendon, IL. She was born on June 25, 1932 in Mendon, IL, a daughter of Ray & Helen (McNay) McClelland. She married Jerry Seals on May 23, 1953 in Quincy. He survives.

Patricia was a graduate of Unity High School. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and working on the farm.

She formerly attended Meyer Community Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and being with her grandchildren. Patricia was very sociable and had many friends.

She is survived by three sons, Brent Seals and his wife Judy of Ursa, IL, Brian Seals and his wife Lisa of Lima, IL and Brad Seals of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Zach (Jessica) Seals, Jessica (Adam) Deardorff, Kelly (Troy) Kramberg, Shane Baxter, Larrisa & Dawson Seals, and Allison Seals; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marian (Don) Tenhouse, Ruth Whipps & Sandra (Bill) Fessler; three brothers, Lowell (Barb) McClelland, Lyle (Pat) McClelland & Dick (Rachel) McClelland. Numerous nieces & nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Brenda Sue Seals, two brothers, Don & Ed McClelland, two sisters, Alma Downs & Thelma Keim; and a brother in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in New Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice. www.dukerandhaugh.com
