Patricia Annette (nee: Leake) Ginther
Patricia Annette (nee: Leake) Ginther, age 93 of Lebanon and formerly of Quincy, IL, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Born to Alan W. and Alice C. (nee: Coleman) Leake on August 20, 1925 in Quincy, IL.
Patricia was a 1942 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Quincy, IL. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a lifelong Catholic, and an avid reader. She liked to travel “East”, as she was a self-taught historian of all things Colonial America.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, Brent (Karin) Ginther of Lakewood, CO and Bruce (Kellie) Ginther of Pleasant Hill, MO, one daughter, Judith (Larry) Grin of Lebanon, OH, seven grandchildren, Katrina (Jeremy), Stefan (Michelle), Katherine (Chad), Kristina (Rich), Emily (Dan), Amanda (Marshall) and Ryan (Jessica), fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in to death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, William R. Ginther, two brothers, Alan and Bruce Leake and one sister, Marilyn Leake.
A memorial service will be held at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home in Quincy, IL
on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
