Patricia Ann Yates, 85, of North Adams Nursing Home formerly of Quincy, IL
Died February 10, 2013.
Patricia was born March 23, 1927, in Quincy, a daughter to the late William J. and
Vera Stratman Eggeson. She married Henry E. Yates on February 26, 1950, in Quincy. He died October 19, 1984.

She was a member of the Columbus Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed sports of any kind to watch on tv and spending time with her Deaf friends.
Patricia graduated from the Illinois School for the Deaf & worked at Quincy Speaker, J.L. Miller and retired from Quincy Paper Box. She was a life time member of the Quincy Deaf Club.

Survivors include 4 Grandchildren, Tammara (Brent)McKenzie Retheford of Cambridge, Il, Scott McKenzie of Muscatine, IA, Adam(Stephanie)Yates and
Tiffany Yates all of Quincy: 3 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.
Sister, Mary L Wilson of Windermere, FL, Daughter-in-law Marie Yates of Quincy, several nieces & nephews, a special friend & caregiver Peggy(Terry)Homan of Ursa & her life long best friend Dorothy Kramer of Ursa, IL & Costa Mesa, CA.

In addition to her parents & husband, she was proceeded in death by her 2 children daughter Pamela A Yates(McKenzie)Sphrit, son Howard W Yates and a brother-in-law Dale Wilson.

Services: Friday February 15, 2013 11:00 AM Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Cowman conducting
Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy.

Visitation: Thursday February 14, 2013 4 – 7 PM
