Patricia Ann Jonte, age 70, of Quincy, IL, wife of Jesse D. Shaffer, Sr. passed away of natural causes in Blessing Hospital on Wednesday evening, August 28, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Marjorie Vahle.

Those left to continue on are her husband: Jesse D. Shaffer, Sr. of Quincy, IL; One daughter: Latricia Ann Neisen and her husband Jon of Quincy, IL; One granddaughter: Mikayla Neisen and (Levi Moore) of Quincy, IL; One brother: Joseph Vahle and his wife Mary of South Carolina; one sister: Sharron Baker of Quincy, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pati An was not only my wife but my very best friend. She was the best life partner a man could ever ask for. Goodbye my love, but only for a little while. I will love you forever. Jesse
