Patricia Ann Ellerbrock

Patricia Ann Ellerbrock of 3622 Ellington Road, Quincy died on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 5:15 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. Patricia “Pat” as she was known, was born in Quincy on May 28, 1940 a daughter of Harry and Alvena (Mettemeyer) Dempsey. She married Harold Ellerbrock on October 21, 1967 in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Quincy.

Pat was a licensed beautician for more than 45 years. She was a graduate of Center Grade School, Quincy High School and Southern Illinois University School of Advanced Cosmetology iN Carbondale, IL. Pat was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was a leader for the Adams County 4H and a life member of the P.T.A. She loved working with the Ellerbrock Club Lamb business and she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren sell and show club lambs. Pat was a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.

Survivors include her husband Harold of Quincy; two sons, Jeffery and his wife Kelly; Bradley and his wife Lisa all of Atkinson, IL; three grandchildren, Cole Bradley, Kashen Jeffrey and Kendall Jane, all of Atkinson. A brother, Alvin Dempsey and his wife Kay of Quincy; a sister-in-law, Alice Dempsey of Fowler, IL and two nephews, Mark Dempsey and his wife Millicent of Fowler and Dennis Dempsey and his wife Jennifer of Quincy. Three nieces, Joan Kroeter and her husband Craig of Quincy; Sharon Mast and her husband Al of Springfield, IL and Jackie Dempsey of Peoria, IL and great nieces and great nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Edward Dempsey and a nephew, Michael Dempsey. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Peter by Monsignor Leo Enlow. Interment will be in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.     Harold and sons so sorry for the loss of Pat she will be missed I’m sorry I’m still in Florida Jayna is flying down Thursday and we will be heading home on Saturday. you are in my thoughts and prayers it’s a tuff thing again you are in my thoughts and prayers
