Pamela Kay Blackledge-Stevens

Pamela Kay Blackledge-Stevens, age 62, of 2519 Lakeside Dr., Quincy, died on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 9:10 p.m. in her home. She was born on September 15, 1952 in Rock Island, IL, a daughter of Jesse & Gladys (Grimsley) Blackledge.

Pamela attended The Crossing 929 in Quincy. She was the former owner of Just Friends Bar at 5th & Locust.

Pamela enjoyed being with family. She also loved playing darts, cards and just hanging out with friends.

She is survived by:
Her companion of twenty-three years, Richard Crabbe;
One son, Scott Blackledge of Illinois;
One daughter, Lisa Sapp and her husband Joe of Quincy;
Two grandchildren, Riley Sapp and Kaylee Sapp, both of Quincy
Two brothers, Jerry (Debbie) Blackledge of Quincy and Randy (Myia) Blackledge of Hannibal, MO
Two sisters, Rhonda Chesney of Kinderhook, IL and Lori (Nick) Hopper of Quincy;
Very dear friends, Tami Pavao and Helen Figeroa;
and her “K-9 Kids”, Taffie & Candie;
A host of nieces and nephews also survive

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Pat Altheide.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    So sorry for your loss Lisa I loved your mom so much she was one of my closest friends. Wish I could be there for you but things just got in the way

    Pam you will be missed so much, but now you have your wings and now you can still watch over us without cancer (your demon) god bless you and you are with him now . love u to the moon and back. So happy I got to be with you on Sunday, memories were shared.
