Norma V. Terstriep
Norma V. Terstriep, age 89, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 2104 Cherry Lane Estates, Quincy, died on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 7:32 p.m. in the Home.
She was born on June 21, 1921 in Quincy the daughter of Anthony & Bertha (Lammers) Kalmer. She first married Paul C. Zwick in 1941. She later married Robert Terstriep in 1990. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Mrs. Terstriep was a member of the Church of St. Peter. She was an avid bridge player and member of the Women’s City Club. She greatly enjoyed golfing and was a former member of Spring Lake Country Club.
She is survived by:
TWO DAUGHTERS: Mary Jo Points and her husband Steve of Clermont, FL, and Kathy Vogel of Quincy.
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Tiffany Chorney and her husband Peter of Winter Garden, FL; D.A. Points and his wife Lori of Windermere, FL; Angela Wedding and her husband David of Quincy, and Jason Vogel and his wife Dawn also of Quincy.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Cassidy Chorney, Carson Chorney, Kennedy Chorney, Laila Points, Chloe Wedding, Max Wedding, Austin Vogel, Dante Vogel.
Numerous step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, Jerome Kalmer, and a son-in-law, Leo Vogel.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter. Inurnment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Research .
