Norma Louise Ames, age 90 of 1705 Madison Street Quincy died on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 10:13 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. Norma was born February 11, 1927 in Quincy, a daughter of Marion “Jack” and Helen Hope Gavin Griffith.
She married Byrl Ames on February 27, 1951, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1981.
Norma had worked at Davis & Cleaver and at Motorola on the Assembly Line.
She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her two sons, Andrew and Tony Ames, both of Quincy. Nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in Sunset Cemetery.
There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to the graveside service.
