Norma E. “Nancy” Kramer

Norma E. “Nancy” Kramer, age 76 of 29352 Magnolia Ave., Durham, Missouri died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in her home. She was in the care of Hospice and her family was present. Nancy was born December 29, 1935 in Quincy, a daughter of Noel and Gladys (Wiechman) Taylor. She married Richard Kramer on June 12, 1954 and he survives.

Nancy was a homemaker, matriarch, and caregiver extraordinaire. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, the Ladies of St. Mary’s. She was a school bus driver, a Girl Scout Leader, a Den Mother, and was very active in her families activities. Nancy enjoyed crocheting and sewing and was well known at craft shows for her crocheted name doilies, ornaments and angels. .

In addition to her husband, survivors also include her children: Ricky Kramer and his companion Patti Tournear, Vicky Rumsey and her companion Jerry Hoelscher; Teresa Gorder and her husband Donald; Bobette Frese and her husband Clint and Tena Hodges and her husband Mark all of Quincy. Two brothers, Donald Taylor of Quincy and Ronald Taylor of Missouri; A sister, Marylou Stover and her husband John of Quincy;
23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, a brother in law: Eugene Kramer, Jr and his wife Peggy along with nieces and nephews also survive.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Richard Whittaker, a sister Sylvia Stewart and a great-grandson, Brody Griffith.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home and a mass held at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of North East Missouri or to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
