Neola G. Brown, age 91, of Quincy, passed on Thursday, November 22, 2012 in her home. She was born on March 12, 1921 in Steffenville, MO, the daughter of Stewart E. & Grace (Plunkett) Rowsey. She married Thomas H. Brown August 30, 1948. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brown and her husband owned and operated B & R Cleaners for 37 years. She was of the Christian Faith. She was a long-time member of the Quincy Business Women’s Club, the South Side Boat Club and she volunteered for Senior Citizens.

Neola lived her life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Survivors include one daughter, LaDonna Brown Edgecomb of Springfield, IL; two grandchildren, Timothy Edgecomb and Lindsay Edgecomb Atkinson and her husband Colin all of Springfield, IL; and three great-grandchildren Grace, Gage & Carter Atkinson all of Springfield, IL.

In addition to her husband, Thomas, and her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Ralph & Jay Rowsey and a great-niece, Neola Embree Cramer.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be announced at a later date
