Nellie Bernice “Bea” Bradshaw
Nellie Bernice “Bea” Bradshaw, age 96, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 2312 Monroe, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Good Samaritan Home. She was born on August 25, 1917 in McKee Township the daughter of Naaman and Eva Pearl (Johnson) Whitaker. She married Melvin T. Bradshaw on March 1, 1958. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1989. Bernice was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Bernice enjoyed sewing, traveling, taking care of her yard and her flowers. She was a great cook who enjoyed spending time with her family. Bernice especially loved the trips she took with her sister, Emma, to see the shows in Branson, MO.

In addition to her husband, Bernice was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Emma L. Triplett.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church. www.dukerandhaugh.com
