NaPali Hafner
NaPali Hafner, age 30, of 301 N. 8th Street, Quincy, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 peacefully at home. NaPali was born on April 20, 1979 in Lihue, HI, a daughter of Ann Hafner.
Survivors include:
MOTHER: Ann Hafner of Quincy,
AUNTS: Mary (Hafner) Slicker of Whitehouse, Texas, Kathy (Hafner) Duff and her husband Michael of Carmel, IN;
COUSINS: Brian Duff of Fishers, IN, Craig Duff and his wife Amanda of Kapaa, HI, Fr. Daniel Duff of Kokomo, IN, Johna (Slicker) Booker and her husband Scott of Whitehouse, TX, Max Slicker and his wife Virginia of Flint, TX, John Hafner of Paris, KY, Morgan Booker of Whitehouse, TX, and Mia Slicker of Flint, TX.
NaPali was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred and Donald Hafner, an Aunt, Donna (Hafner) Snyder & her son, baby James Snyder, Uncle Roger Hafner and his wife Teresa, Great Aunts, Rosalie Wand, Virginia Wand, and Dorothy Wand, and Cousin, baby Kennedy Claire Booker.
Memorial services begin with a rosary at 11:40 a.m. followed by a requiem mass at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. There is no visitation but family and friends are invited to the memorial mass. Memorials are suggested to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Anne I am so sorry. I miss you and feel of course awful that I have been so out of touch. I have such warm memories of Napali, man she could light me up and make me smile. I hope you are OK. Is there an address or number I can reach you at? I am a dentist here in Omaha with 2 kids, Larkin and MElvin (5 and almost 3) we are waiting for our house to sell and actually might be moving to San Rafael…i remember our dinners there well. Ann, I am so sorry about NaPali. The funeral was beautiful and what a wonderful time for her to be with jesus at his birthaday party! Your nephew did a great job with her eulogy, He nailed it as to her personality and disposition!
I can’t ammagine the void that her death as left in your life. I continue to pray for you. I hope to see you at Mass so we can share some time together. God Bless you and may NaPali be in peace, Marty
