Nancy M. Thompson, age 80, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Sunset Home. Nancy was born on May 14, 1938 in Morris, IL the daughter of George H. Pope and
Lydia F. Waters.

She graduated from Morris High School. She had worked as a housekeeper and a care-giver. Nancy attended Vermont Street Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children: Steve (Linda Rife) Thompson of Quincy, Victor (Peggy) Pope of Quincy and Sally (Reynen) Moss of McHenry, IL. One sister: Dorothy “Dot” Rolando of Coal City, IL. Five grandchildren: Janie Rife, Stephanie Thompson, November Thompson, Marcy Thompson and Victor Pope and ten great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wayne Pope and a granddaughter, Marcy Ann Thompson.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Greenmount Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
