Nancy Annette Hoos

Nancy Annette Hoos, age 67, of 2024 College, Quincy, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 9:21 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1948 in White Hall, IL, a daughter of Grover Leroy & Minnie Evelyn (Axley) Hall. She first married Harley Leon Forrester. He preceded her in death. She later married Earl Dean Bloyd.

Nancy was retired from her work as a dietary manager and mental health technician at Pathway in Jacksonville, IL.

She was a member of The Crossing at 48th Street. Nancy greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Time spent with her grandchildren and sharing the adventures they had together was a highlight of her life. She liked going to church, cooking, doing crafts and going on ice cream dates.

She is survived by her children, Traci (Rodney) Kelley; Terra (Jason) Heck and Donnie (Evelyn) Bloyd all of Quincy, and Sandy (Dean) Wilhoit of Curryville, MO; eighteen grandchildren, Jamie Eaton, Ashley Kelley, Justin Kelley, Ozzy Kelley, Gia Bloyd, Zoe Bloyd, Shelby Waid, Adam Waid, Logan Waid, Allyson Heck, Juliann Heck, Emma Heck, Brandy Atkinson, David Wilhoit, Stephanie Oberman, Kayla McGee, Bethanny Shipley & Allison Kingery; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister Mary Monroe and three brothers, John, Curt & B.J. Hall. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, Leon and Dean, she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Hall and a step-son, Rick Forrester.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family.
