Michele K. Hayslett, age 59, of the Lampe Hi-Rise, died on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 1, 1961 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Darryl Leroy & Lenora Kay (Smith) Hayslett.

She was a member of The Crossing.

She is survived by:
CHILDREN: Heather Felix (Bill Wall), Crystal Gonzalez (Jaime) and Jessica Smith.
GRANDCHILDREN: Ty Henderson, Davontay Phares, Maria Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, James Gonzalez, Lenora Smith, Dominic Smith, Esperanza Guerrero-Felix, Francisca Guerrero-Felix, Estefany Guerrero-Felix.
BROTHERS: Mike Davis (Holly), Roy McSorley III (Dana)
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Alfred ‘Pug’ Rankin

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at The Crossing, 929 Monroe, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
