Michael “Pedy” S. Berry age 41, of 614 Spring Street, Quincy died on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in the emergency room of Keokuk Area Hospital. Pedy was born May 26, 1970 in Quincy a son of Robert M. Berry and Marcia (Gille) Lewis. Pedy was a 1988 graduate of Quincy High School.

Pedy liked music, video games, spending time with his daughter and his family. He had a big heart and cared about everybody.

Survivors include his mom Marcia Lewis and his step-father Harry Lewis of Quincy; a daughter, Mikelia Berry, a brother, Desmond Sorenson, sisters, Collette Green and Colleen Berry all of Quincy, Michell Berry of Burlington, IA, Tabitha and Brittany Berry all of Quincy. Eight nieces and nephews, Christopher and Cory Turner, Danasha Kelley, Coreyona Lowery, Demarion Bowens, Dontarius Bowens, Armani Berry-Cosey and Asavian Ivey.
His long-time friends, Ron, Mary, Barb and Bill and many more friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Joseph Berry. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family. www.dukerandhaugh.com
