Michael L. Frericks
Our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, Michael L. Frericks, was called home to heaven on January 5, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital after a short illness. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 7, 1945 in Quincy the son of Joseph and Mildred (Mast) Frericks.
Michael was a 1963 graduate of Christian Brothers High School in Quincy.

Michael was an electrician working for Brown Electric and Seither & Cherry Company for many years. He retired in 2003. He was a proud member of the IBEW.
Michael was born and raised in Quincy with a large, loving family. He worked, played and shared his life surrounded by wonderful family and close friends. Michael, Jean and their children enjoyed traveling the country in their camper, visiting almost all fifty states. Many fond family memories were made during these trips. As members of the Coachmen Caravan camping organization, he and Jean served as President of the local chapter and Officers of the international board of directors. In later years, he and Jean enjoyed hosting at Siloam Springs State Park and making annual winter trips south where many additional friendships were made. It was said that with one cup of coffee a stranger became a life-long friend.
He was active in Boy Scouts in St. Francis Troop 22 for many years and served as Scoutmaster. Michael was a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
