Michael H. Davison
Michael H. Davison, age 64, of Fowler, was reunited with his wife and went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in his home. He was born on December 12, 1956 in Quincy, the son of Norman and Frances (Stafford) Davison. He married Mary A. Wittler on March 22, 1980. She preceded him in death on November 29, 1999.
Michael worked at ADM for many years. He also farmed. Mike was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He was a very devout man, participating in Cursillo and reading the Bible often. He was an outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. He also was a fan of wrestling and racing, especially the INDY 500.
Mike was the cornerstone of his family.
He is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Shawn Davison (Stephanie) of St. Paul, MN and Kathleen Davison (Nathan Henriksen) of Fowler, IL.
ONE GRANDCHILD: William Henriksen.
TWO SIBLINGS: Mark Davison (Susan) and Barbara Griggs (Robert).
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the Blessing Hospice for the great care they gave to Mike.
In addition to his wife, Mike was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Deborah Davison.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 9:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to his grandchild’s education fund.
