Michael Eugene Edwards, age 73, of Quincy, Illinois, left for glory during his sleep, January 15, 2018, at Timberpoint Nursing Home.

He was born on November 22, 1944 in Bowling Green, Missouri, the son of Harry Edwards and Claudine McPike Cannon. He is survived by Michelle Edwards, Caryn Davis, Terry Edwards, Darin Williams, Dana St. Juste, Michael Reed, Monica Thompson, Taneeka Cartmill, Kim Roberts and numerous grandchildren. Michael is also survived by his sister Eleanor, a half-sister Peggy, and several nieces and nephews. Michael served in the US Army for three years with an honorable discharge.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM in White Rose Church, 1117 West Locust, Bowling Green, MO. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
