Michael Dion Rupert II, age 20, of 3016 Ray Mar Court, was a wonderful soul and went to be with his Lord on Friday, July 10, 2015. He was born on January 9, 1995 in Quincy the son of Dion and Krissy (Heysinger) Rupert. Mike worked at Gully Transportation. He was a 2013 graduate of Quincy Senior High School and was enrolling in the John Wood Community College Truck Driver Training School in the fall. He was a member of The Crossing.
Mike loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed movies. Mike was also a good cook and enjoyed grilling and bar-b-que. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by:
HIS PARENTS: Dion and Krissy Rupert. A BROTHER: Sonny Eugene Rupert. HIS PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS: Michael Eugene and Dianne Marie Rupert. HIS MATERNAL GRANDFATHER: David Heysinger and his wife Linda. HIS MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Kathy Heysinger. HIS PATERNAL GREAT-GRANDFATHER: Ernest Lee Rupert; HIS PATERNAL GREAT-GRANDMOTHER: Beulah Henrichs
AUNTS AND UNCLES: Tammy Rupert and Von Hartman; Troy and Ann Rupert; Jeff and Julie Rupert; Kellie and Gary Buckles; Hiram and Kelly Heysinger; Greg and Bria Bever.
Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Michael was preceded in death by his Great-grandparents: Pearl ‘Betty’ Rupert, Paul Henrichs; Bob and Shirley Heysinger and Jerome and Arlene Schaeker and an uncle Michael Todd Rupert in infancy.

Funeral services have been DELAYED due to the storm experienced in the area on Monday evening.
The funeral service will be held on THURSDAY, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at The Crossing at 48th & Maine. Visitation will be held on WEDNESDAY evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Crossing. Memorials may be made to the Wishes of the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
