Mauritta C. Killday

Mauritta C. Killday, age 99, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 1851 Lind, died on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 7:45 AM in the Home. She was born on May 6, 1913 in Brashear, MO the daughter of William T. & Teresa F. (Moore) Nooning. She married James P. Killday on February 8, 1931 in Adair, MO. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1995. Mauritta was a long time member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She loved her family and greatly enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by:
FIVE CHILDREN: Dolores Naderhoff of Quincy; William Killday and his wife Annie of Quincy; Sharon Wiewel and her husband Floyd of Quincy; and Karen Henderson and her husband Gary of Quincy and Joyce Hron of North Carolina.
NINETEEN GRANDCHILDREN: Tom Killday and his wife Amy; Teresa Brumbaugh and her husband Greg; Kent Naderhoff and his wife Donna; Kevin Naderhoff and his wife Melissa; Kraig Naderhoff and his wife Susie; Kathy Westerhold and her husband John and Kelly Naderhoff and his wife Judy; Rick Killday; Debbie Konya and her husband Paul; Mike Killday and his wife Vicky; Karen Knapp and her husband Benj; Dana MacMillan and her husband Mickey; Janine Harper and her husband Rob; Chandra Folkert and her husband Greg; Daniel Wiewel and his wife Lisa; Garen Henderson and his wife Angie; Jason Henderson and his wife Joy; Heath Henderson; and Tony Hron and his wife Alane.
A host of great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by: four children: Donald, Gerald And Jack Killday and Tommy Killday in infancy; a grandchild Tammy Killday, and two great-grandchildren. A brother Bud Nooning and sisters: Lucille Schutte; Eileen McMahon; Kathleen Turner, and Maureen Estes.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 9:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4-6 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church or to the Good Samaritan Home.
