Mary Rena Bartlow

Mary Rena Bartlow, age 84, of Camp Point, IL, died on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on August 3, 1933 in Kirksville, Mo the daughter of Frederick L. ‘Roy’ and Nellie (Sparks) Lane. She married James D. Bartlow on July 4, 1950 in the front yard of her grandmother’s house. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2007.

Rena greatly enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers. She also greatly enjoyed her time with her black pug, ‘Katie’.

Survivors include sons: Joseph Delbert Bartlow (Bonnie) of Ursa, IL and Jackie Lee Bartlow (Sherri) of Hannibal, MO.
Grandchildren: Jaydon Bartlow (Missy), Kayla Resendiz (Josh), Gavon Tappe, Dalton Tappe, Jackie Lee Bartlow II, Michael Bush (Nikki), James Bush and Kimberly Cookson.

Numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, Rena was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Dennis Ray and Thomas LeRoy Bartlow, one brother: Loyd LeRoy “Tom” Lane and a grandson James Lee Bartlow.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services at noon. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
