Mary Prindle

Mary Margaret Prindle age 77, of Quincy passed away at home, peacefully and surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 9:09 p.m. She was born June 27, 1940 in Quincy, a daughter of Cyril and Mildred (Heinecke) Sullivan. On September 23, 1961 she married Bruce Prindle in the former St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Quincy, he survives.

Mary was a homemaker. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Saxe Auto Electric, and she was a real estate agent at Sunrise Realty. She was a graduate of Gem City Business College.

Mary was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and she volunteered at St. Dominic’s.
One of her favorite pastimes was playing cards with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Bruce, survivors include her children Lisa Garrison and her husband Rick of Hamilton, IL; David Prindle and his wife Erika of Quincy; A sister, Norma Dieker of Champaign, IL; a brother, Dan Sullivan and his wife Edie of Joplin, MO;
Grandchildren Kristi Wells and her husband Daniel of Carthage; Alec Prindle and his wife Kaitlin of Quincy; Tyler Hills of Hamilton; Wyatt Prindle of Quincy.

Great Grandchildren: Karli, Easton, Taylor and Austin Wells all of Carthage, IL: Rhylan Prindle of Quincy, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby and Richard Sullivan, A sister, Deana Peters; sister-in-law Pat Sullivan; brothers-in-law Roger Peters and Bill Dieker and a son-in-law Todd LeMatty.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. at Duker & Haugh and 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, Fr. Tom Donovan, celebrant.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to St. Dominic Grade School.
