Mary Louise Billeter age 91, of Fowler, IL, died on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Turners Station, KY.

Mary was born in Liberty, IL, on January 25, 1932, a daughter of Nicholas and Olivia (Peter) Lentz.She married Dale L. Billeter on November 16, 1963 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Quincy, and he survives.

Mary was employed by both Motorola and State Street Beauty Shop. She treasured the ten years she spent as a beautician at the salon. She became a homemaker, as her greatest joy was being around young children and taking care of others.

She loved her family deeply.

Mary was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Quincy, IL. She loved God and was always a faithful Catholic.
She placed a high value on education and made sure each of her children had the opportunity to receive a college education.

In addition to her husband Dale, survivors include her four children: Dr. Lynn (William Ellegood) Billeter-Ellegood of Turners Station, KY; Steven (Jeanette) Billeter of Minnetonka, MN; Kenneth Billeter of Zionsville, IN; and Karen (Douglas Rockney) Billeter Rockney of Westfield, IN. Grandchildren include Nicholas Billeter and Ande Billeter.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
