Mary Louise Barger, age 87, of Clayton, IL, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in the home of her daughter at 2515 Keller LN. She was born on December 19, 1923 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Earl J. & Frances W. (Ohnemus) Blickhan. She married Virgil J. Barger on July 18, 1942 in Quincy, IL. He preceded her in death in August of 1970. Mrs. Barger was a housekeeping supervisor for Day’s Inn from 1964 until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of Spring Valley Independent Church. Mary greatly enjoyed baking and sewing.

She is survived by:
FOUR CHILDREN: Connie Mason and her husband Earl of Clayton, IL; James Barger and his wife Sharon of Quincy, IL; Dorothy Koehler of Quincy and Jerry Barger and his wife Cheryl of Palmyra, MO.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, a son John Barger, a grandchild: Harold Gene Mason and a son-in-law: Wilbert Koehler, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Brother Nathan Scott. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
