Mary Lou Stover
Mary Lou Stover, age 68, of 3307 Harrison, Quincy, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Blessing Hospital. She was born May 4, 1943 in Quincy, IL, a daughter of Noel & Gladys (Wiechman) Taylor. She married John H. Stover on September 26, 1959. He survives.
Mary Lou was the manager of the Ayerco station on 12th & Bluff Road. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served as an Awana Leader at the church. She was a devoted caregiver to her father-in-law and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by: one son, John Paul Stover of Quincy; two daughters, Debbie Stover and Christine Stover, both of Quincy; Grandchildren, Chase Seiz, Chad Stover and Brittney Stover; and two brothers, Don Taylor of Quincy and Ron Taylor of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sylvia Stewart and Norma “Nancy” Kramer; and one brother, Richard Whittaker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Mickey Farlow. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday morning at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to the Humane Society.
As I child, I remember her big bright smile and black cole hair! I have one picture of Mary Lou, John, Lawrence and my mother Elizabeth, along with my brother, and 2-3 other children at Christmas time.
I am so sorry to hear about Mary Lou. Mom had told me that she has been sick for while. Thinking about you and praying for you.
We will miss you aunt Mary Lou. Have good childhood memories of visiting you and uncle Johnny and Debbie. You will be in our hearts and prayers.

We will miss Mary Lou so much. She always had a cheerfulness about her. May God bless your family and our prayers will be with you.
Growing up my aunt was full of fun and laughter. She always took interest in us kids and showed her care for us.We will miss her but the memories will always be in our hearts.
