Mary Lou Hogge

Mary Lou Hogge, age 86, of 3412 Maine St., died on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 3:19 AM in her home. She was born on March 22, 1929 in Quincy the daughter of John F. & Lilly V. (Jones) Ellsworth. Mary Lou worked in the housekeeping department of Blessing Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the St. John Cathedral.

Mary Lou is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Phyllis Florea and her husband Ricky of Hannibal; and Glenn Hogge of Quincy
ONE GRANDSON: Ashly Florea and his wife Tracy
TWO GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Ashton and Rylee Florea.
TWO BROTHERS: George Ellsworth and Glenn Ellsworth along with his wife Pat.
ONE SISTER: Laura Geiser.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Roland Florea, a brother: John Ellsworth and two sisters: Alice Davis and Elizabeth Hankins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the St. John Cathedral by Bishop Stephen Strawn. Interment in Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the St. John Cathedral or to the Community Care Systems Adult Day Services located at the Quincy Senior Center Suite 112.

    Lived across the Street from the Ellsworth family on College Street when growing up.Was in class with Glenn.
