    Dear Mark, Joe, & Family,

I was deeply saddened to read in yesterday’s paper of your mother’s passing.

Reading her beautifully written obituary caused me to reflect upon my youth and all the good times I had in your home and with your family. As far back as I can remember, I greatly admired your parents and even your whole family. The 50 years that Don and Mary Lou spent together serves as a shining example to others of what true love and devotion can bring to a family.

During the coming days and weeks, I know you will hear many wonderful stories about your mother. You can take pride and comfort in those many reminders of the profound impact she had on those whose lives she touched, including mine.

Though ill health prevents me from getting out much anymore, please know that you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Kevin and Sandy. Linda and I offer our condolences and wish your family the best. Another generation passes, but you still have family to keep the memories and good times flowing in the future.
    Peace
    Lee & Linda VandeWall
