Mary Katherine White
Mary Katherine White age 78, of Quincy, IL died on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 5:45 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. Mary was born in Quincy on August 7, 1942, a daughter of Clarence and Emily (Kuhlman) Koch. She married Richard Arlan White on June 10, 1967, in Quincy’s St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and he survives.
Mary was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Quincy Beauty School. She was a beautician at the Lincoln-Douglas Beauty Salon. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter. Mary was an avid reader and she liked painting and crocheting.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her three children: Suzanne O’Quinn and her husband Steve of Quincy; Tony White and his wife Kimberly of Downer’s Grove, IL; and Sarah Heidenreich and her husband Ryan of Kansas City, MO.
Grandchildren: Zach O’Quinn, Katie O’Quinn, Natalie White, Alex White and Emily Heidenreich.
A brother, Jim Koch and his wife Carol; a sister, Cindy Anders and her husband Martin all of Bowling Green, MO. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.

Richard & kids – I’m so sorry for your loss. My parents, Larry & Arlene Barr, and I lived several houses down the street in Riverside Terrace and I remember how sweet Mary was. RIP Mary.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Mary. We were neighbors in Riverside Terrace for awhile she was a great neighbor I would see Mary when I would visit my parents they were also neighbors.
