Mary Frances Kitch
Mary Frances Kitch, 79, previously of 435 Hickory Pointe, Quincy, died at 4:15am Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Blessing Hospital.
Born August 7, 1938, in Palmyra, Mo., Mary was the only child to Pearl and Doyle Brinkley.
She married Francis “Tom” Kitch on Nov. 26, 1953, at John Golden’s Parsonage, Hannibal, Mo, who
passed away in August, 2016.
Mary was of the Baptist faith. She attended Palmyra grade school.
Mary had distinguished careers at Motorola and the Silhouette Shop, both in Quincy. She also owned
her own beauty shop in Lewistown, MO for several years. She enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes,
visiting with her many friends and taking part in all family events. She was well known for her
homemade cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls.
Surviving are two sons, David Kitch and his wife, Joyce of Maywood, MO., and Mike Kitch and his
wife, Ginger of Lewistown, Mo.; a daughter, Marcia Greifer and her husband Curt, of Acworth, GA;
seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her mother, father and husband.
SERVICES: Mary requested a cremation and no visitation, memorial or funeral service.
A celebration of Mary’s life will take place with the immediate family in the very near future.
As a loving and final note, all she requested was that everyone cherish each and every day
and savor all of life’s memories of family and friends.
