Mary Caristo, age 63, of 720 Sycamore Street, Quincy, formerly of 1255 Maine Street, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 9:01 a.m. in the Emergency Room at Blessing Hospital. She was born on June 6, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Joseph and Rose (Gallo) Mascaro. She married John Caristo on January 1967 in the State of Pennsylvania. He survives.

She was a member of St. Boniface Church.

Prior to her retirement, Mary worked in the Dietery Department at St. Mary Hospital in Quincy.

In addition to her husband, John, survivors include:
TWO SISTERS: Rose Ann York and her husband Alan of Santa Rosa, CA, and Josephine Bullock and her husband Harry of Stanoway, WA.
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mary was close to her pet dog, Charlie.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sycamore Health Care Center by Father John Kennedy. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the memorial services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
