Mary Ann “Nancy” Neuser Virgis, age 89, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:35 p.m. in Sunset Home. She was born on April 5, 1924 in Quincy, IL, a daughter of William F. & Elizabeth (Becker) Neuser. She was married to George Virgis on June 3, 1944 at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. George preceded her in death on October 20, 2002.

Mary Ann was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, three nephews and one niece. She is survived by a sister-in-law, two nieces, a nephew and several great nieces as well as great, great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and her cremains will be buried beside those of her husband, George, at Santa Fe National Cemetery in New Mexico.
