Mary Ann Marshall

Mary Ann (Lowe) Marshall age 77, of Quincy went to live with the Lord our God in Heaven on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. Mary Ann was born on January 15, 1941 in Chicago, IL. She married the love of her life, Jim Marshall on July 1, 1961 and he survives.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Quincy. Mary enjoyed traveling, doing crafts, especially M&M crafts and spending time with her family. She also loved going to the Coach House and chatting with her favorite waitresses there.

In addition to her husband Jim, survivors also include her daughters Deanna (Ron) Marshall and Teri Barnes and her husband Duane; Three grandsons, Aaron, Joey and Jacob. Numerous brothers, sisters, in-laws and many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Emma (Coy) Lowe and her mother-and-father in law, Robert and Marie (Knuffman) Marshall.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of St. John. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Hearts Over-Flowing campaign at the Lutheran Church of St. John.

    One of my favorite halloween traditions was visiting Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary Ann for donuts, goulash and cider. ♡ Much love to you Uncle Jim & family.
