Mary Ann was very creative and she always had an affinity for numbers “143”. She dearly loved her kids and grandkids and she had a generous spirit that she happily shared with those in need. Mary Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her true passion in life was her family and her faith. She will be missed more than words can say. Especially by her sad eyed beagle Sadie.

Adam & Amanda, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom & dad were good friends of the Damhorsts at St, John’s. I think you went to school with Derek. I lost Derek in 2010 of a brain tumor & John my husband died on Jan. 21. I hope they are in heaven planning St. John’s pancake breakfasts & fish fries. My love & sympathy to you. They were the good people, so sweet & loving. May memories of them always surround you.

For many years Mary Ann and I were friends in Quincy. We lost track of each other for awhile, but recently had found one another again on face book. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I count Mary Ann as one of my most beloved friends and a wonderful soul. My children and I send you all our deepest sympathies.

Can’t find words to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your beloved mother. We will miss her so much. So very glad I got to spend 3 days with her a week ago. We had some good talks and laughs. The world will not be the same but she is with your dad and we can be joyful for that. love you Amanda, Adam and all your family.

    Dear Doellman and Bachmann families,
Mary Ann was the best and she came from the best, I just loved her family and her mother Jeanie ( Mrs. St. Rose) was one of my best friends too. My heart go’s out to all of you and wish I could be there for the funeral but will have masses said at her at dear St. Rose Church.. I had just spoken to Mary Ann too one morning while in Quincy at McDonalds and talking about the old days when she and her family went to St. Rose. Mary Ann was an image of her mother is so many ways. Thank you for sharing your mother, sister with us all. God bless you and my her soul now be in heaven.
