Marvin Roger McEuen, Jr., age 48, of Mendon, formerly of Texas, died on Saturday, September 8, 2012 in his home. He was born on June 12, 1964 in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Marvin Roger & Vernita (Lane) McEuen, Sr. Marvin was a truck driver until his retirement due to ill health. Marvin greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by:
HIS MOTHER: Vernita Simmons of Mendon
ONE SISTER: Vanessa Eggen of Camp Point, IL
TWO NEPHEWS: Roamin Anderson and Cody Anderson and his wife Kayla
ONE GREAT-NIECE: Layla Anderson.
Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father and his step father: Raymond Simmons.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
